• Content - Search Engines love content filled pages.  Your copy (wording on your page) crucial to your successful rankings.
• Keywords - You need to select keywords that people will search for.  These keywords should be used within your copy, and in your META tags.
• Link Popularity - Probably one of the more challenging tasks, getting other similar web sites to link to your new site.
