AGCS Protection PlanThe AGCS Protection Plan
is your computer maintenance plan and is available monthly, quarterly, bi-annually,
or annually depending upon the environment your computer is located. We charge
by the visit and by the number of computers you have contracted for computer
maintenance. With our AGCS Protection Maintenance Plan
we will clean your case and fans, preventing dirt and dust from causing a
system fan failure. We also evaluate all of your
hardware using our advanced diagnostic testing equipment. Our diagnostic
equipment not only troubleshoots completely "dead" machines, but with
its benchmarking features, we can compare the original performance of your
system to that of the current state. Comparing these results, and with
regular testing and evaluation, we can diagnose a failing part, before it leaves
you with an inoperable system, or worse yet, a total loss of data.
The image to the left shows a video card that was pulled out of a Windows XP computer. In the larger image (click here) you can see the dust build up inside the graphics CPU fan. The build up of dust caused resistance to the fan, eventually damaging the video CPU, causing the computer to "Blue Screen". This repair was over $130 and could have been avoided by using the AGCS Protection Plan. Just as a car needs periodic maintenance to keep it performing optimally, computer maintenance is essential for maximizing the life of your computer.
